MENOPAUSE

Before entering the subject, we must consider the series of changes that precede the installation of menopause, due to the progressive decrease in the function of the ovaries and therefore in the hormonal production that occurs approximately 4-5 years prior to the definitive cessation (Menopause), this period is known as Climacteric.

During this period it is common to find alterations in the regularity of menstruation with missing periods or intermenstrual bleeding, little or abundant bleeding, a feeling of suffocation, changes in mood and irritability, changes in vaginal lubrication and lividity.

It is important to carry out a preventive gynecological control that allows us to observe the changes that are occurring and thus start an early treatment that allows you to make your transition to permanent cessation more bearable.

What can you do?

  • Be attentive to changes and talk about it with your loved ones as they will be your greatest support.
